Why Policy and Python?

There really isn’t any “technology policy” anymore. It’s all just policy. Technology is so foundational to how we work and how we think that it always has to be considered as part of a broader fabric.1

Policy analysts, lawyers, and social scientists who fail to adapt to the technology on which our society is built will at best be left behind, and at worst be given the power to make decisions on critical issues.

It's my hope to get the political and socially inclinded people interested in technology, and the engineers and technologists interested in the social implications of their work.
